Uw taken:

  • Alle taken die te maken hebben met de volledige opvolging van container-vervoer wereldwijd, zowel import als export
  • Documentatie, administratie , operationele opvolging , dossierbeheer, totale pakket van A-z Assistentie van taken in afwezigheid van collega’s.

Uw profiel:

  • Kunnen werken op een zelfstandige, ordelijke en georganiseerde manier
  • Vlotte verbale en schriftelijke omgang met collega's en klanten
  • Creatief en oplossingsgericht kunnen denken stressbestendig (geen '9 to 5' mentaliteit)


Uw kennis:

  • Enige kennis van de container-wereld (rederij- + client-kant) alsook daarbij horende (INCO)termen
  • Enige kennis van B/L’s
  • Eventuele kennis van letter of credits , douanedocumenten , en verdere gerelateerde documenten is een pluspunt.
  • Computer: vlot gebruik van de meest courante programma’s (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Internet...)
  • Goede taalbeheersing in woord en schrift

Job Description:

All tasks related to the follow-up of worldwide container transport: import and export.

  • Documentation, operational follow-up, administration, file management, able to offer a complete package from A – Z.
  • Supporting tasks in colleague absence.

Your Profile:

  • Able to work in an independent, orderly and organised manner.
  • Fluent verbal and written communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Creative thinker with a focus on solutions.
  • Works well under pressure (no 9 to 5 mentality)

Your knowledge:

  • Accounting knowledge, invoicing (debit/credit), letters of credit
  • Some knowledge of the container business as well as associated Inco-terms and related documents (Bills of Lading).
  • Knowledge of letter of credits and customs documents is a plus.
  • Proficient use of well known software (word, excel, outlook, power point, internet …)
  • Good language knowledge (Dutch & English) written and spoken.

Transport Planner - Expediteur

Het plannen en organiseren van transporten van klanten.

Het gaat hier met name om transporten van grondverzetmachines die gemoeid gaan met uitzonderlijke afmetingen en gewichten.

Het transport wordt voor deze organisatie uitgevoerd door met name andere logistieke dienstverleners in te schakelen.

Je draagt zorg voor het vinden van de juiste logistieke dienstverlener en dat de transporten conform afgesproken voorwaarden worden uitgevoerd. De uitdaging is dan ook om een optimale ritprijs te verkrijgen.

Je bent als ware de spin in het web, waarbij je veel contact hebt met klanten, transporteurs en de interne organisatie.


Taken

  • Het plannen, organiseren en begeleiden van transporten
  • Contact onderhouden met de klant
  • Aansturen en corrigeren van vervoerders
  • Voorbereiden en verzorgen van transportdocumenten
  • Afspraken maken met de opdrachtgever
  • Interne communicatie over ritplanning
  • Sluiten van vervoersovereenkomsten met vervoerders
  • Voorbereiden en opstellen van offertes
  • Onderhouden van contacten met opdrachtgevers, transporteurs en andere betrokkenen
  • Afhandelen van alle bijkomende administratieve handelingen die bij het transport komen kijken

Gewenst profiel

  • Afgeronde mbo/hbo opleiding Goede beheersing van de Nederlandse, Engelse en Duitse taal in woord en geschrift.
  • Kennis van de Franse taal is een pré
  • Flexibele instelling
  • No-nonsense mentaliteit
  • Werkervaring in een vergelijkbare functie is een pré
  • Sterke communicatievaardigheden

THE ROLE

We currently have a vacancy for a C# Software Developer to join our team working on bespoke.NET applications and services, which will include desktop, cloud and mobile apps. You will be working in a collaborative team environment so excellent communication skills are essential. You will have the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the SDLC including liaising with clients, design, development, testing and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Developing and testing applications

• Working from approved specifications

• Delivering software to agreed timescales

• Liaising with clients to determine and fulfill project requirements

• Maintaining existing systems

• Working to agreed Coding Standards

The ideal candidate should have:

• A degree/HND in Computer Science or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience

The Company

Role: Experienced Logistics Freight Forwarder - minimum 2 years

Purpose:

The role of this individual is to work as part of the operations team, compile quotations for clients and handling operational orders alongside helping to service and increase the sales of the company, through relationship building and prompt personal service. This individual will also work closely with his colleagues in the other departments and with our other group offices, UK and continental suppliers.

Hours: Fulltime 37.5hrs

Vacancy - Trainee Administration / Logistics

The Company

Role:

Experience is not required, however enthusiasm, interest and a willing to learn in building a career in logistics is!

Duties and Responsibilities could include:

  • To work in the Operations department, initially providing administration assistance to all staff.
  • Data input
  • Good communication skills are required
  • Learn to compile quotations for clients and handling operations orders alongside helping to service and increase the sales of the company, through relationship building and prompt personal service
  • Book transport shipment, airfreight etc ensuring that the customer’s needs can be met
  • Check vehicles, containers etc arrive on time with the necessary equipment etc.
  • Check item(s) shipped as required with correct documentation
  • Monitor progress, keeping the customer informed, and resolve any problems that may arise.
  • Confirm delivery made on time
  • Send delivery confirmation to customer
  • Respond to requests for quotations, assistance with shipping documentation applicable to the mode of transport and country of origin or destination, completion of quotations and chasing allocated key-account quotations to conclusion
  • Raise invoice in accordance with clients requirements
  • Sign off and close fine
  • Resolve invoice queries relating to supplier costs
  • Assist other team members during times of absence
  • General office duties

Other duties & responsibilities:

  • Constantly prioritise work so the efficient use of time is maximised and the days’ work is always planned
  • The jobholder should be confident with an organised mind, capable of working under pressure at the same time subscribing to the company’s quality, health and safety, and customer care policies and procedures.
  • Full Training will be given at all levels and in all departments, as the individual will be expected to become multi skilled.


Hours: Fulltime
37.5hrs - Office based position – NO HYBRID WORKING.

Salary: Above national minimum wage
