70T Mill Pipe Croatia
Following on from the successful delivery of a 165T “Mühlenrohr” (Mill Pipe) ALS Project Team were commissioned to ensure the safe passage of another Mill Pipe.

The mill pipe measuring 7.7mL x 4.9mW x 4.95mH and weighing 70 tonnes began its journey from Slavonski Brod, Croatia to Aljustrel, Portugal on road using an 8-axle trailer.
Indirect lifting was required at Vukovar for the barge to Holland where it was then lifted onto a coaster vessel for its trans-shipment to Sines and offloaded directly for transportation by road to Aljustrel, Portugal.
Extensive route planning and a thorough site visit was carried out by the ALS team whom also assisted in the coordination for removal of street furniture, police escorts and management of the coaster and transhipping in Sines.
ALS received a client’s statement “Everything was running great, thanks for the good service”.
