Cold stores moved in Europe
ALS was pleased to be commissioned to relocate various-sized cold stores across Europe. The door-to-door transportations were meticulously organized by our operations team in the UK for our valued client.

Movement 1 – Ireland – Italy
This cargo movement involved consecutive loading of four cold stores. Initially, these were scheduled to deliver on the same day. However, due to permit restrictions at the unloading site in Italy, these units were held near the city and delivered over a two-day period.
4 cold stores delivered at the same time, Dimensions: L:12.20 x W:3.81 x H:2.70, 7-8 Tons each
Movement 2 - Germany – Italy
Units for this movement were retrieved from the rear of a HIAB due to the challenging ingress and egress conditions at the collection site. This task needed careful execution and close coordination between the two companies involved.
Unit dimensions: L:6.10m x W:2.86m x H:2.70m, 3.6ton
Movement 3 – Italy - France
This high-value cargo operation involved the simultaneous loading of nine cold storage units. Initially, these units had to be loaded concurrently on a Saturday due to the lengthy permit process. However, owing to the Christmas and New Year holidays, this was rescheduled to an evening collection. This task required precise coordination, prompting us to enlist support from the ALS team in Italy, who ensured that every lift was conducted safely and accurately executed.
