Dismantled 80T excavator moved from Finland

Abnormal Load Services (ALS) Seafreight team arranged the transportation of a dismantled Kobelco excavator from Finland to Belgium.

The dismantled Kobelco SK850LC-10E excavator was divided into 6 parts.

At 3.77 metres high the base machine was the largest and widest piece at 3.40 metres wide with a weight of 49T.

ALS' Scope of work (base machine):

- Pre-carriage Finland: from customer to port

- Shortsea Finland – Belgium: from port to port

- On-carriage Belgium: port to final destination

Scope of work (parts):

- Door – door service organised using 2 x full trailer loads (FTL)
