Multimodal Movement for Mining Machine
Road, Barge and Vessel Shipment from Europe to the USA.

Abnormal Load Services – ALS’ operations team based in Moerdijk the Netherlands arranged the loading of a dismantled PC4000 mining excavator from Europe to the USA.
The Komatsu PC4000 was transported in 17 pieces and weighed a staggering 300 Tonnes in total.
ALS’ team were on site to oversee the loading. The machine was successfully transported by road to a barge from Germany to Belgium, where it was shipped to America with ALS’ sister company Wallenius Wilhelmsen Ocean (WWO).
This machine featured at the Bauma Construction equipment and mining fair held in April this year in Munich, Germany.
