New Safety & Security GB Datasets 2025

From 31 January 2025, any goods imported from the EU to GB must be covered by a Safety and Security declaration (also known as Entry Summary Declarations or ENS).

Those who export from GB to the EU, or import from countries outside the EU, are already required to submit Safety and Security declarations.

The legal responsibility for the ENS declarations is with the operator of the active means of transport at the border.

• Unaccompanied vehicles on a ferry will fall under the ferry operator
• Accompanied trucks, the haulier is responsible
