Offshore Winches Destined For China
Multi-modal transport organised for critical project cargo

Prior to this transportation ALS attended planning meetings with their client to ensure a smooth movement for this critical project cargo from the UK to China.
Dimensions involved:
2 x Winches - L: 14506 mm x W: 4174 mm x H: 4336 mm - Weight x 80,000 kilos each
2 x Cases - L: 3680 mm x W: 3680 mm x H: 2680 mm - Weight x 8,000 kilos each
The road movement for the 2 x 80Ton Winches to the Port of Felixstowe was carried out on Goldhofer transport technology neck 2 bed 5 combination.
Ocean freight was organised by the ALS Project Manager to the Port of Shanghai

- Gantry system to lift units to SPMT
- SPMT from build facility to outside area
- Gantry system to load units to transport
- Transportation
- ALS Escort Vehicle to assist with delivery to UK port
- Shipment to Shanghai
