на русском языке

ALS' Hamburg team has successfully completed the "turnkey" transportation of an oversized / heavy boiler from Germany to Russia.

Cargo details: 45.5 m х 3.6 m х 3.5 m, with a weight of 83 tons

Multimodal transportation for the boiler included road transportation to point of loading, where the route of transportation was agreed and confirmed with local Road Authorities; civil works on route were done using a 3D Scan for the most difficult parts of the route.

The boiler was delivered by sea to the transshipment port. For the final part of route, the boiler was loaded on to a special rail car with a capacity 120 tons.

Transportation by rail for such heavy / oversized cargo is necessary to comply with Russian Railway requirements.

All transport drawings of cargo and transport were prepared and also confirmed.

The transit time travelling a distance of approximately 4,000 kms was 1 month.

ALS' teams are ready to offer customers multimodal logistics solution to Russia and other CIS countries for oversized cargo up to 500 tons using special rail cars.
