Transportation of Pressure Vessel

A 135 tonne pressure vessel was recently shipped by the ALS Project Team in Hull.

The unit with dimensions of L: 6.06m x W: 3.50m x H: 3.63m was transported from Sheffield with the assistance of police escort to Rotterdam utilising a 14 axle hydraulic modular trailer with a gross vehicle weight of 200 tonnes.

On the quay in Rotterdam the vessel was then transferred to an inland river barge for sailing to Antwerp to meet a deep sea vessel destined for the USA.
