Vessel Chartered For CAT Machines

A ro-ro vessel was chartered by the ALS team in Bergen for a shipment from Oslo to Brønnøysund in Norway for 3 x Cat 775G machines. On arrival in Brønnøysund, the machines were then loaded onto trucks for the last distance of 32 kms by road to the end client.
If transported by road it would have involved a distance via Sweden of 1150 kms.
This charter approach ensures cost-effectiveness and minimizes the impact of wide loads on winter roads in Norway.
Approximate dimensions per machine is 4.3 meters wide and 50 tons per machine.
