54T Reel Delivered To Port

A 54 ton, 2.80m diameter reel was transported in the UK to be loaded to a vessel destined for Norway.
Flexibility was key to this movement as the loading port for the cargo changed twice due to vessel port call updates, therefore alterations to transport and permits were necessary. Additionally, there was a very tight delivery window of one day from collection to direct delivery to vessel due to last minute production checks, which was further complicated by road weight limits on the A1 and A66 meaning the transport had to take a longer alternative route.
The reel was offloaded from trailer to a spooler device at quayside, and then loaded direct to vessel.
