3.8m Wide Mining Machine Ships To Africa

ALS’ Seafreight team arranges door-to-door delivery from Europe.

Abnormal Load Services - ALS’ experienced and knowledgeable sea freight team is equipped to handle a range of mobile and static equipment across many sectors around the world.

Recently the team arranged the door-to-door delivery of an oversized mining machine from Europe to Guinea, Africa.

With a height of 3.40 metres the largest piece of cargo was the main machine which measured 12.8m in length, 3.8 m wide and weighed 64T.

A total of 5 trucks were required for this movement, where the cargo was transported by road and sea.

The cargo comprised of a 12 metre long conveyor, a conveyor suspension measuring 3.40 metres high and weighing 22T and 10 pallets containing spare parts along with accessories.
